Hamlin House - This is a 6-bed co-ed facility in Wichita Falls, Texas that has been in operation since 1992. This facility houses 4 males and 2 females. This facility has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen and dining room combination with a separate living room, office/training room, and laundry room. The bedrooms are situated so females are on one side of the facility and the men are on the other side. This facility has a nice backyard with a picnic table and is located close the office and day program so individuals can walk the grounds during the daylight hours and enjoy the roses in bloom. This facility also has long term staff members. The Supervisor overseeing this group home has been with High Plains since 1993 and has supervised Hamlin since 2000. There are also direct care staff members working at Hamlin who have been employed any where from 6 – 10 years.
